A Halloween Spooktacular will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the Public Library, 32 Sheboygan St. Storyteller Dr. D. A Halloween party sponsored by Teen Connection is scheduled 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, for sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders at “Da Spot” in Woodworth Middle School. The event will feature music, games, food and other spooky fun. Cost is $3, and anyone wearing a costume will receive a free drink ticket. Forest Mall invites local musical groups and choirs to sign up for the “Simon Day of Giving,” an annual semi-private shopping event that raises funds for charities. Forest Mall also is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win two sets of six skybox seats to the Green Bay Packers-Chicago Bears game on Dec. 25. Raffle tickets are $10, with all proceeds going to the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Tickets are available at Forest Mall. “Copy a Card Quilts” is the theme of the 11th annual Dickens of a Quilt Show. Entries must duplicate a postcard, note card or greeting card and can be no larger than 36 by 36 inches. The show will be held at Horicon State Bank, 400 Watson St., Ripon.
